First time trying awesome fries. Pizza fries was very tasty although it had a little too much sauce. And small fries with peri peri powder were amazing! It’s very simple yet delicious! Loving it.
The potatoes are not frozen; they peel and fry them fresh on-site. One large potato, which costs about 7 pounds, is quite sufficient for two people. I didn’t add any sauces, but they were delicious on their own. It’s a well-executed establishment. However, it can get quite busy at times, so you may need to wait in line.

Awesome Chips is an amazing place and perfect for spice loving people. The Chips are very tender and fresh, as they're not frozen and fried from directly cutting potatoes. This combined with endless combinations of sauce and spices proves to being the king of 'loaded chip'. Certainly a must try place with the food being amazing and very well priced. As well as very good quantity which could be a good lunch if you go for the large portion, Can't wait to try these chips again!
We were in town and fancied a snack and were near Awesome Chips which wasn't too busy. The potatoes are not frozen they peel and fry them fresh on-site. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ordered the Original Chips with just salt and vinegar. There are a number of other toppings, combos and sauces available but we stuck to just salt and vinegar. We ordered a medium portion size which cost 4.95 at the time and is enough for two people. You are given a receipt with your order number. When your chips are ready your order number is called out and you collect. The chips were piping hot and tasted very nice and crispy. I would definitely recommend this place. If you are in the area give it a try.
My favourite chips joint IN THE WORLD! This place is conveniently located in the heart of Leicester and it is totally worth the visit, even from a nearby town. The chips are of extremely high quality and are freshly made to order. The sizes are adequate and beware that the large size are a really modest size! I got the masala piri piri sauce and garlic chilli mixed which was an awesome combination and would definitely recommend for others to try the same. Would definitely return 100%. To say the least, these chips were truly AWESOME.
This place offers one of the best chips I've tasted. Been here multiple times and never disappointed. There's a variety of sauce choices and flavours. The staff are friendly and work as fast as they can. The chips are freshly made (you can see the staff use the raw potatoes to make them from scratch). Awesome chips is a Dutch brand so I believe there is also choice for Dutch sauces and Dutch drinks. The only downside id say is the kiosk structure - because it is so popular, lines build up which causes a crowd which blocks people from walking by. Overall a 5 Star for me and would definitely recommend, especially when you're hungry and on the go.
I am from belgium famous for our chips I had chips from awesome chips they are as good then chips in belgium even better highly recommended and staff very friendly and we had a good laugh fantastic atmosphere.
